The NYC Department of Design and Construction, Division of Safety & Site Support seeks an Instrument Person. The selected candidate will use various types of survey equipment such as total station(s), digital levels, GPS, and data collectors to perform field survey functions. Examples of such surveys include topographical/property line, Damage, and Acquisition type surveys. The Instrument Person will also assist the Party Chief in preparing field sketches, performing simple survey computations, and performing field edits on Consultants' submissions for compliance, accuracy, and completeness.
