Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and other financial transactions. This is a long-term contract position where you will contribute to maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable process. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and code invoices accurately and in a timely manner. u2022 Manage check runs and ensure all payments are completed on schedule. u2022 Reconcile accounts payable transactions to maintain financial accuracy. u2022 Collaborate with team members to address and resolve invoice discrepancies. u2022 Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records. u2022 Assist in preparing reports and summaries related to accounts payable activities. u2022 Support the team in using financial systems like Intacct and ServiceTitan. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. u2022 Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve payment issues or inquiries. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. u2022 Proficiency in coding invoices and processing payments. u2022 Familiarity with financial systems such as Intacct and ServiceTitan is a plus. u2022 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. u2022 Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members. u2022 Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
