Coupled with todayu2019s challenge to decarbonize our planet and fund projects, our people are engaged with a variety of creative projects to implement these innovative solutions.We are looking for a collaborative Traffic/ITS Engineering Intern to join our Mid-Atlantic Advanced Mobility (AM) group of about 50 transportation planners, traffic / ITS engineers and operations specialists with a wide variety of talent and experience. As our newest team member, youu2019ll play a supporting role in TMC operations, and other ITS and traffic engineering work tasks.Joining our team, youu2019ll have the chance to apply your experience to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your ITS and traffic expertise to create innovative solutions. u2022 Pursuing a Bacheloru2019s Degree in Civil Engineering,u2022 Strong technical writing and oral communication skills.u2022 Valid driveru2019s license and able to travel for site visitsu2022 Knowledge in Traffic Safety and Operations and using CADD/MicroStationu2022 Must be resourceful, curious, and self-directed.Ideally you'll also have:u2022 Design experience with departments of transportation, planning or transit agenciesu2022 Knowledge and experience using CADD/MicroStationu2022 Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the futureJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
