Forescout Cyber Security Engineer, Mid What You'll Work On: u00b7 Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management. u00b7 Manage infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises. u00b7 Contribute to risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas, and leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise. Basic Qualifications: u00b7 5+ years of experience performing systems administration for Windows or Linux, including performing basic troubleshooting and installation or configuration, monitoring system performance or availability, and performing security upgrades u00b7 Experience architecting and designing IP networks, including developing and documenting network topologies u00b7 Knowledge of multi-domain architectures, including data center, WAN, and LAN in virtualized architectures u00b7 TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a counterintelligence (CI) polygraph. u00b7 Associate's degree and 5+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities, Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities, or Master's degree and 1+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities. Years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. u00b7 DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND Certification. u00b7 Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification (CSSP-IS), including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND Certification, prior to start date on the contract.
