Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Tacoma, Washington. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to contribute to various human resources functions, including recruitment, payroll coordination, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing HR processes with a proactive approach. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for non-executive positions, ensuring a seamless candidate experience. u2022 Develop and deliver engaging presentations using PowerPoint, showcasing attention to detail and adaptability. u2022 Monitor payroll activities managed by the parent company, addressing errors and ensuring accurate documentation. u2022 Oversee workersu2019 compensation claims, including follow-ups and proactive claim management. u2022 Collaborate with teams to cascade organizational goals effectively and maintain alignment with company objectives. u2022 Handle employee relations matters, fostering a positive and productive work environment. u2022 Support onboarding initiatives to ensure smooth integration of new hires into the organization. u2022 Assist with maintaining HR documentation and compliance with company policies and procedures. u2022 Contribute to safety programs by managing claims and promoting workplace safety practices. u2022 Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate records and streamline HR processes. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in corporate recruiting, particularly for non-executive roles. u2022 Proficiency in using PowerPoint to create detailed and engaging presentations. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to dynamic situations. u2022 Familiarity with workersu2019 compensation laws and procedures. u2022 Knowledge of HRIS systems and their application in HR administration. u2022 Experience in managing payroll coordination and resolving discrepancies. u2022 Ability to develop and implement department-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs). u2022 Background in employee relations and benefit functions.
