Barback $2.83/hr + tips Free meal on shift, Employee discounts, Career Growth Opportunities Kitchen + Kocktails offers a modern spin on Southern Comfort Food, with a great selection of beer, wine, and some of the best Kraft Kocktails around.We are now hiring Barbacks to join our growing team.We OfferGreat working environmentFlexible schedulePaid trainingRoom to grow with the companyMost of all, a fun and exciting place to work!Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesBefore ServiceKeep the bar fully stocked at all times.Prep garnishes (lemon and lime wedges and wheels, herbs, bloody mary garnishes, pickles, olives, etc.), and label and date containers.Juice citrus, pour into squeeze bottles, and label and date them.Fill olive and lemon trays.Refill ice wells.Restock liquor bottles.Change out tanks, as needed.Replenish napkins, toothpicks, ashtrays, peanuts, and other counter items.Maintain clean bar rags in each bartender’s station.During ServiceClean counters.Clean glasses and dishes.Run drinks and clear glasses.Clean drink spills and sweep broken glassware.Help bartenders with anything they need.Relay key information to security (e.g., if a line is forming, if someone is drinking from an outside bottle, or if someone appears underage or overly intoxicated).Assist with entering orders into the POS system as needed.Take out trash or recycling throughout the shift (and wash hands after handling waste).Collect empty glasses from the bar.After ServiceClean counters.Take out trash or recycling (and wash hands after handling waste).Clean furniture.Clean glasses and select dishes.Set up and tear down the bar for each shift.Restock bar containers for the next shift, including juicing citrus for the next service.Unclog sinks.Mop behind the bar.Clean no-slip mats.Put away liquor and beer deliveries.Track opening and closing liquor inventory.QualificationsEye for detailPleasant demeanor when interacting with customersAbility to lift standard bar suppliesInterest in developing bartending skills
