We're looking for an Editor who can identify editorial angles that will drive conversations around the news of the day as well as bigger-picture issues.You will be offered the following shift:2:00 PM EDT - 10:00 PM EDT Sunday-ThursdayYOU MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, AND HOLIDAYS AS NEEDED.A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor news on Fox News and other news channels and podcasts and come up with editorial angles to pursue for & Assign and edit pieces dailyGuide reporters on gathering elements, coordinate production with technical staffCut video from shows for use in articles or the homepages of and Write and/or copyedit and optimize headlines, and copy; gather elements and coordinate production with technical staffEnsure editorial standards are upheld, demands from across company platforms are addressed and smooth handover is made to the next shiftWHAT YOU WILL NEEDA Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience4+years of experience in news, TV, or daily videoStrong knowledge of and passion for news, media, politics, and pop cultureExperience using content management systems and video editing systemsFamiliarity with AP styleStrong SEO and social media skillsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to pivot between breaking news stories and in-depth projects with longer deadlinesAbility/flexibility to work mornings, evenings, or weekends as requiredAbility to be a self-starter with strong news judgment for a digital audienceStrong command of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Illustrator preferredExperience integrating AI tools into editorial workflows to enhance speed, efficiency, and decision-making, while exercising strong editorial judgment and oversight.#LI-BC1Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $74,000.00-99,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
