Position: Mig Welder - ALUMINUMSchedule: 7am-3:30pm Mon-FriLocation: Fort Pierce, FL Compensation: $25/hr (DOE)#TCFL Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and reliable MIG Welder with extensive experience in ALUMINUM welding to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities, a solid understanding of welding safety standards, and a proven track record of high-quality workmanship. This role is essential to our operations and will involve interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, and executing precision welds on a variety of projects. Key Responsibilities: Select, measure, cut, and weld aluminum and other metals to specified dimensions Prepare work surfaces and materials to ensure safety and proper welds Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with accuracy Operate cranes and machinery to move materials as needed Determine and apply appropriate gas ratios for MIG welding Inspect and test welds for strength and quality during and after completion Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety protocols Provide guidance or mentorship to less experienced welders (if applicable) Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a vocational training program or formal welding apprenticeship Minimum 4 years of hands-on MIG welding experience with aluminum Strong physical stamina, dexterity, and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines Solid understanding of welding safety procedures and equipment Strong work ethic and a willingness to work overtime when needed Clean criminal background and ability to pass a drug screening Teaching or mentoring experience is a plus
