Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk & Payroll Coordinator to manage payroll and timekeeping operations across multiple companies. Responsibilities include ensuring all employee timesheets are completed daily and mobile punch-in/punch-out compliance is maintained, identifying and correcting time entry issues, and coordinating approvals with supervisors. The role involves entering and processing payroll in QuickBooks, reconciling payroll data, and working closely with Paychex for payroll and benefits administration, including employee enrollments, changes, and issue resolution. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing and submitting certified payroll reports in compliance with prevailing wage and public works requirements, maintaining accurate records, and supporting general accounting and administrative functions. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of QuickBooks and payroll systems (Paychex preferred), excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision.
