Responsible for producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner. This person has basic skills in department training and can assume department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef. Skills and knowledge to include culinary education, basic cost control understanding, basic communication, leadership skills and computer skills. May assistin monitoring payroll costs & overtime. Responsibilities include supervising hourly AM cooks.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must be able to start shifts anywhere between 5 AM and 8 AM. At least 3 years’ culinary experience is preferred, with breakfast experience required. Familiar with a la carte service and health department codes.High School diploma or general education degree (GED).Based upon fluctuating demands of the operation and to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to perform a multitude of different functions not specifically related to this position.This person may be expected to perform other tasks and duties as needed or as directed.
