Job Details:Mechanical Applications Engineer Valves and Process Systems Required $90,000 to $115,000 + Profit Sharing Applications Engineer supporting industrial process systems with direct responsibility for valve selection, sizing, and technical sales support. Role is centered on flow control equipment, project execution, and customer-facing technical problem solving. Key Requirements: 5-10 years of experience in industrial process industries with direct exposure to valves and flow control systems. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. Demonstrated experience in technical sales, including client interaction, proposal support, and application review. Experience in inside sales or sales support environments tied to engineered equipment. Hands-on experience with valve sizing/modeling tools such as Fisher ValveLink, FlowScanner, AFT Fathom, or Nelprof. Ability to interpret specifications, P&IDs, and technical documentation with precision. Strong organizational discipline with accurate documentation and quote generation. Clear, direct communication with internal engineering teams and external customers.
