Job Title: Personal Shopper Job Description The Personal Shopper, is responsible for efficiently picking and packing grocery items and other goods, ensuring customer satisfaction through careful scanning and protection of items. This role welcomes candidates without prior experience. Responsibilities + Pick and pack grocery items and other goods accurately. + Scan items for order completion and ensure customer goods are well protected. + Process orders by picking, scanning, and packing items. + Maintain safe food practices specific to the department. + Assist in housekeeping of the department. + Audit product for quality to ensure customer satisfaction. + Maintain excellent safety, quality, cleanliness, and productivity standards within the distribution warehouse. + Maintain a team player mentality by assisting others when needed. + Engage in standing/walking for 6-10 hours or more during the workday. + Perform hand use motions such as single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling. + Engage in physical motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. + Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including wearing oil and slip-resistant shoes. Essential Skills + Counting and scanning skills. + Experience in shipping and receiving. + Inventory management skills. + Familiarity with receiving backgrounds, stocking, or inventory personnel. + Ability to work in cold environments for up to 8 hours, with temperatures around 30 degrees. + Experience with fresh produce. + Competence in using scanning equipment. + Customer service skills.
