THE ROLE: As a Cafeteria Attendant at Park Hyatt Chicago , you will be an integral part of creating a seamless and elevated dining experience within our colleague cafeteria. With a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail, you will ensure that all food stations are thoughtfully set, fully stocked, and consistently presented to the highest standards throughout service. Your ability to anticipate needs and proactively replenish offerings will help maintain a smooth and efficient flow during peak dining periods. In this role, you will uphold an exceptional standard of cleanliness and organization across the entire dining space, ensuring all surfaces, service areas, and touchpoints are continuously maintained and sanitized. This position is also eligible to earn overtime and premium pay under certain circumstances. Proven ability to operate within high standards of service and presentation. + Certifications: Valid Food Handler Certification required, with a strong understanding of sanitation, food safety, and hygiene standards. + Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities during active service periods. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with culinary, stewarding, and purchasing teams. + Attention to Detail: Demonstrates a refined eye for presentation, cleanliness, and consistency across all dining and service areas. + Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physically active tasks in a fast-paced setting.
