Description Key Responsibilities: u2022 Work with team to define project objectives and create and maintain detailed work plan u2022 Lead and manage tasks within the team and plan communication cadence within team and with external stakeholders u2022 Monitor project activities, document agreements, communicate to project stakeholders, and escalate issues on a timely basis u2022 Maintain project documentation ensuring alignment with objectives u2022 Set up and manage user stories in Azure DevOps project Mandatory Skills/Experience Required: u2022 8 years of experience managing web projects u2022 Demonstrated experience delivering quality websites and web features to launch u2022 Ability to proactively plan and collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a complex environment and elevate issues for resolution u2022 Expertise in software delivery best practices with proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar system for ticketing and issue resolution u2022 Strong communication skills to collaborate with leadership, experts, and decision makers cross-functionally and across teams, coaching teams to drive outcomes u2022 Knowledge of agile ways of working and modern software development practices u2022 Experience setting up project management tooling for teams u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task u2022 Manage quality assurance testing according to city process u2022 Manage and execute software release process u2022 Interface with technical teams and have experience working with them Additional Skills & Qualifications Desirable Skills / Experience Required: u2022 Background in journalism, writing or marketing with keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with SEO u2022 Proficient in Content Management Systems (CMS) like AEM and SEO tools u2022 PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred u2022 Understanding of common project management tooling such as Airtable, Azure, Jira, etc. u2022 Experience managing budgets and resources Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Brooklyn, NY.
