Job Responsibilities Develop plans, schedules, and budgets to meet contractual requirements for a large program or several portions of a more complex program Support the Program Manager through data analytics to better track key program metrics Establish program plans and conduct research to define program requirements Interface with all levels of the customer, vendors, and internal departments to coordinate deliverables, budgets, and schedules Prepare briefing material to support program meetings and presentations Track and ensure on-time delivery of key contractual document deliverables to the customer Develop new methods for tracking and reporting program status statistics Maintain and update action item trackers, ensuring timely follow-up and status reporting Assist with identifying and documenting program risks and opportunities Capture meeting minutes and track follow-up actions from IPT meetings Support Earned Value Management (EVM) data collection and reporting Track budgets across the program, monitoring actuals against planned expenditures Make recommendations to management on changes as appropriate Assist with proposal efforts Direct, lead, and organize small project teams in support of the program to achieve key metrics May provide work leadership for lower-level employees Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of directly related experience Proficiency in Microsoft Project Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint experience with action item tracking and data analysis using Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting) Ability to interpret cost data and assist with budget tracking Ability to work with a remote team Ability to travel 20-30% of the time Experience working with DoD contracts preferred U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment. The salary range for this position is $83,552.00/year- $108,618.00/year for the state of California. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications.
